    As far as i know nintendo doesnt instaban. Whatever caused your ban it might not be the nsp installation. Playing xcis offline ans going online is enough i think.

    You can already do that. Just take a look at the guide for updating without burning fuses. Also many cartridges will have the new update in them, the only thing you would have to do is dump the update from them.
