    Export the secure value too just in case (it's one of the options right alongside backing up the save) but yeah for physical game carts you should be fine, those don't use secure values I don't think.

    Nah you can fix it. Just try deleting the secure value after it's imported from JK's Save Manager like that guy said, that might work, I dunno. But if it doesn't, when Pokemon Sun/Moon support is patched into the Secure Value Fixer you can patch it up and import the save easy.

    I'd go as far as saying don't contact support for at least a week or two, because they all know a ban wave just happened and that you're almost certainly not innocent.

    In my case nothing, which is why I laughed off the idea of being banned as any form of punishment for me (if I did get banned). My 3DS is pretty strictly an offline and local multiplayer gaming system, so yeah a ban from nintendo online services isn't much of a hit at all.

    Just wait a reasonable amount of time and come up with a believable cover story if the worst scenario arises and they're permanent. But one thing is for sure they aren't gonna believe you easily right now, immediately after the ban wave.

    If your ticket isn't legit then when it's almost done it'll just say an error has occurred and throw out all the downloaded data.

    Written by that exact same guy nobody believes because of his terrible reputation for false information in the jailbreak community? We've already had conflicting reports of "confirmed temporary/permanent" by representatives on the phone by far more reliable sources, this tells us nothing.
