    Start the decompilation efforts, and then re-compilation from your decomp first (The issue there, is that you don't really know or have access to whatever compiler The devs used for their game). Dream about modification and features later.

    And then, stopped working on it. It wasn't a port, it was a recreation. The 3DS was never capable to running Mario Odyssey. Plus, there's no easy way to "port it" due to the lack of source-code.
