    so, I am still at 8.1.0 and with the update to Atmos and Hetake I don't see why I shouldn't update, should I update with Choidujour or directly from the EmmuMMC menu?

    this is the guide I followed a week ago, pretty easy to follow https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/. make sure you update the payload.bin on your RCM dongle as well

    don't hold R on album to access the Homebrew menu, instead, hold R on any title that you have installed, you wil still be brought to the homebrew menu, but you won't be limited to the RAM you can use. more info about that here...

    simply don't update to 9.0, unless you care about online play there is no reason to go to 9.0, heck you're not even forced to update to 9.0 to play online yet

    I can answer a few of these, as I have had some experience with it already. 1- Judging by your response(and the prevous owner's) there is a high chance that it is running AutoRCM already (you can make sure about it by using Hekate's payload and checking under "tools - AutoRCM" more details...
