    thanks teddy for reply...yes thats something i didnt think of the trade in.... like i've said i cant even access settings with no card inserted.....technically not bricked but f$%ked might be a better word!! was hoping some smart people out there might have found a fix for this...cant afford...

    Yeah, even with no card in it, the dsi wont let me access settings....the thing is nintendo are probably not going to help me because i've used one of the flash cards..right?? I'm certainly not going to pay them to fix it...... Hoping someone out there could help with this problem...cant...

    Hi, i have similar problem with my daughters dsi.. card i'm using has r4i-sdhc.com written on it... i got the latest firmware couple of weeks ago but it didnt help.... even when i try any game or try access settings i get same message...its as good as bricked now!!! must be a fix for this...
