1. Steam
2. Absolutely love Metroidvanias of all kinds, and the OG game really hooked me up fast. Really want to play the new one, especially with it featuring Hornet, hear new music (the OG's was great), and just, all in all, more HK!
Them doing it in Japan actually makes sense, their own trademark and copyright laws are a bit more restrictive on this type of stuff, including charity events.
In US (think GDQ) it's permitted for charity events.
Also, because most people here seem to not understand the possible ramifications of this.
The whole RTEMS thing is a very MINOR problem. If the code really is lifted right off of it with just renamed symbols and scrubbed comments, then well, a bit of a shitty thing to do, but in the long run, no...
No. If you have the SDK you don't have to RE anything, you HAVE the code. This is why it's a problem. Because it seems that it wasn't RE'd to be legal, but was lifted right off from Nintendo's own code, and probably modified a bit to obfuscate it.
IF the whole thing about Switch 2 using HOS like Switch 1 is true (I saw mentions of it here and there but no actual proof of it, aside from people saying that it looks the basically the same on some screenshots shown by nintendo) then there is a non-zero chance (but very, VERY low) that there...
There is a non-zero chance that we already have something that allows to break S2. With the backwards compatibility, it's likely that there is a ton of similarities with the original Switch, and I wouldn't be surprised if the switch scene has been sitting on a new way to hack the original one...
I love whenever people complain about the 'major' version of firmware not bringing anything new, not understanding at all what semantic vesioning (semver) is, and that those numbers are not important to the end user, but rather developers using the console's APIs
MK7 is cross regional only online. I have a US 3DS and my sister an EU one and our copies of MK7 (respective to the console regions) cannot connect in local play.
It may had been mentioned, but if you have WPS enabled (the thing that allows you to connect easily by ussing a button on the router) disable it.
Aside from the button, it also uses a short 8 digit PIN code. And that is painfully easy to crack.
If you are using WPA2 you could also try figuring...
If you have a spare SSD/HDD I'd say, disconnect the one you are using, connect the spare and install fresh windows on it. Then install at least one of the programs/games you have an issue with and test it for a day or two. If it keeps happening, then seems it's not software but hardware issue...
