Things you recently bought or got

I bought Life is Strange & Before the Storm Remastered Editions, and True Colours Ultimate Edition in the Steam Sale for only £10. :D

    Do we need "next-gen" consoles?

I totally agree, the prices are now beyond ridiculous, and unfortunately, it looks like they are not coming down any time soon. I'm just glad I built my new PC before the prices went up. :D

Do remakes ever get it right?

I personally think that System Shock by Nightdive Studios on Windows was an excellent full remake of one of my favourite DOS games, whereas System Shock 2 seemed more like just an HD texture mod upgrade. I hope they do a proper remaster of Thief, and not just another texture upgrade.

Gaming Do you avoid old games that are only playable in 30fps or less?

As long as the game is playable, the FPS doesn't really bother me. When it comes to playing old retro games, I normally find myself having to use frame rate limiters to slow games down to 30 FPS, or the game's physics/AI tend to be broken.

How exactly was the SNES CD supposed to work and what happened?

Apparently, it was going to be a cartridge-based SNES, adding support for a CD-ROM-based format known as Super Disc, but Sony got greedy and wanted the full rights to all games published for the SNES CD-ROM. Nintendo refused and decided to team up with Philips instead, which also didn't pan out...

Listing of all available PC ports ?

Hello, I've been looking for Gods Remastered on the PC. I was a big fan of the original PC and Amiga versions and didn't even realise it was available on Steam until I heard it had been delisted. Now it's only available on certain online game stores for £90+, which is ridiculous. Check out...
