Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Great release, thanks Fix94 !! Partition #2 properly detected, and channels launch properly through emunand on that same partition! It seems emunand config is back with more modes (full, save, region) than in earlier beta (full/partial), or it's just translation mismatch. One last thing...

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Why this limitation? Is that for Wiiflow emunand too, or just for neek2o? Recent Wiiflow wiki does seem to require that, since one can choose and set partition for this: such flexibility is important. Actually, as EFI spec mandates use of partition #1, it would be a good thing not to require...

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Thanks AbdallahTerro. Did that but still same issue. I enclose the wiiflow log Something looks strange to me: everything (games, nand, etc) is on usb2 in my case (usb1 is EFI partition which should NOT be touched). At some point in the log, on can read Hum... not good: nothing relates to usb1 on...

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Hi, tried on 798 and 804 (without neek2o), and emunand Channels launch would fail. Any suggestion? Thanks

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Hi, Trying to play around with emunand. I'm on d2x v8Final as I read it seems more stable for emunand operations. Wiiflow extracted nand in proper folder. No Neek2o stuff at the moment: I'd like to keep it simple if possible. Savegame mode seems to work, although some games are extremely...

Hum... Do you have several partitions on your HD? Do you have same issue with 4.0.1 or 4.0.2?

Out of my HD disk, only 2 partitions are FAT: #1 is FAT-EFI, #2 is "real" FAT. Others are HFS+ Yes, I did try to flip the USB menu on 4.0.5, but it is stuck on USB1 BTW: once this issue is sorted-out, would be nice if wiiflow could omit FAT-EFI partitions :)

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

wiiflow dol is on USB2 and I use system menu forwarder. My HDD has 4 partitions, USB2 being the one with games and all wiiflow files. So, I did insert a SD now, and let wiiflow generate a .ini on it, and then enabled sd_write_log: I did the same thing with v 4.0.1 for reference: Hope this helps

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Hi thanks for looking at that. Actually there's a change, but it still does not work: mostly the same issue, except that it now detects only partition #1 (was #1 and #4 for 403 and 404). Best,

Issue starts with 4.0.3. 4.0.2 is fine.

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Thanks Fix for looking at it. So, let me explain in greatest details: Setup: no SD, Games on FAT partition #2 out of 4 (3 of them are not FAT) Removed all 4.0.1 files in /app/wiiflow, and replaced by 4.0.4 files Boot wii on system menu. Hit Wiiflow Forwarder - then start about 12 sec black...

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Hi, Tried to move from 4.0.1 to 4.0.4, and the newer one does not detect my USB partitions properly, although 4.0.1 (and previous) did. I removed wiiflow.ini and let it start fresh: it only shows up NAND. known issue with that latest release? Thanks for a fix, Fix ;)

Hi, I have frequent hangs while playing Animal Crossing RUUP01 with r418. It seems more stable under r417a4. Any hint? Thanks.

Great to see development is moving forward at good pace! However, I'm a bit confused: are FIX94 efforts a branch in the project? I hope everything will be rolled into the main codebase. Thanks.

Gaming Skylanders' 3DS portal on Wii: works fine?

Took a big breath, bought the 3DS game, and tried on Wii with included USB cable: it works just fine with Wiiflow r417a4 and d2x-v7-final! Hard drive on one port, Portal on the other one. Have fun
