    You can install as much stuff as you want and then get CFW. It will all stay if done correctly; the chance of bricking is always given

    You can install CFW and then enjoy FBI all day long without worrying about udsploit. If you somehow don't want to you can download udsploit and the official FBI (3dsx. files). Load the Homebrewlauncher, run udsploit (press Start once it has finished) and then run FBI. The worst that could happen...

    The Maki FBI version has a compiled fasthax integrated, so this will not work. I could imagine - I am not sure - that udsploit + official FBI could work. On what 3DS Firmware are you currently?     You need fasthax (or udsploit since 11.4 update) to run this. Safehax won't help you here.

    Have you copied your backup to your PC? (Maybe you just moved it to your PC) If yes, just copy it on your SD card. Since SafeCTRTransfer creates a backup automatically you should have one.

    I should have said that I am on a N3DS before, my bad. I also only got the 4gb one that came with the N3DS. I will buy a 32gb (I know many people go for 64, but 32 is enough for me) + microSD to standard adapter tomorrow. Thank you for helping Lacius, I appreciate it!
