    You can get a Blue Retro adapter for GameCube to have a genuine wireless controller with rumble vs the Wavebird without it

    Been having a big retro itch lately. I dug out my old NES from childhood I got it in 86 or 87 for my bday and still have. Gave it a good cleaning, new 72-pin connector and plays like new. I got the idea for a clear shell swap but didn't want to touch my childhood NES for sentimental reasons...

    It's all about the experience you are looking for. Sure I own a Steam Deck and other Android based handhelds. Nothing beats the full experience and feeling with 3DS hardware. Plus it's 100% accurate. If you're looking for more, than of course the emulation handhelds will be a better fit.

    I'm sure it did get downvotes. All the reddit posts I've seen regarding the Edifier's were begrudgingly approved by the audiophiles. So they are great in my book :rofl:

    Thanks! Loose contacts are so annoying. I'm surprised you put up with it for two years! I did a bunch of research and Edifier is supposed to be good entry level audiophile speakers that don't break the bank. Audiophile approved and they can be a bit snobbish.

    Nice! I'm sure you will love them. I just ordered the Edifier R1280DBs for my retro gaming setup off eBay, certified refurbished for $109 or it would have been $199 new.
