    Don't have an Ackard to test with, but the R4 Deluxe v1.20 kernel does not work on the real R4. I've not had time to check to much out but it uses a _DS_MENU.DAT file that is 2591KB Vs the 1377KB version that the real 1.18 uses. And it uses a 1KB _DS_MENU.INI file in place of the _DS_MENU.SYS...

    Hardware Best Batteries for Wii Ever?

    Cheap Costco brand batteries 20 battery brick for 7 bucks, 2 batteries last me about 12-14 hours. LOL! Toss out the batteries and go on to the next pair. That's 60-80 hours per remote for 7 bucks, not to shabby, might pick up the recharger once the brick runs out, but that will be a while yet. O.

    I'd go with the R4, up here in Canada at least you can get them for $20-$25. They are well made and one R4 with a 2GB card and your set for homebrew forever. I have all the homebrew I can find that is worth playing or using (DS Organize rocks!) and I think I have like 95% of my card still empty...
