    I also find it odd that connecting it to the PC doesn't do anything. Should the computer be able to recognize it or since it can't boot up properly, the PC is not seeing it?

    I've held every combination of buttons down for well over a minute and none of them seem to respond to anything. The only thing that gets the switch to boot is plugging it in. Are the buttons just damaged or is this an indicator that this could be a kiosk/demo unit?

    Just picked up an OLED switch and it won't boot past the "Could not start the software" screen. If you click ok, it just boot loops and goes back to the same screen. It does charge, as when I bought it, it was completely dead. Holding down the power button, with or without any other combination...
