    FYI. Tried Cemu on Linux today. My setup is: Xubuntu 16.04 + CEMU 1.5.1 + Wine 1.9.11 (Staging - ppa:wine/wine-builds). I had absolutely nothing to configure in Wine. Performance is i think nearly the same. It works just out of the box. I can even use the wireless Xbox 360 controller.

    Linux doesn't support xinput. But Wine does. So it should work. But it could be messy with the configuration. I'll try it for myself later. Yeah Wii U Pro as an ingame option would be nice. :)

    Cemu should work on OGL 4.0 (its using currently 4.5 if available). Mesa does support OGL4.0 for a wide range of graphics cards. So it should work. That is quite exciting. Also interested if the 360 controller work without much of struggle. :)

    Performance should have no big difference. Small benefits for the skylake cpus (6% better ipc) and also the i7 models (bigger cache size). i7 6700K > i5 6600K/i7 4790K > i5 4690K.

    It's a great CPU but an i7 6700K is correctly spoken the absolute best CPU you can buy for that kind of stuff. Best paired with some fast DDR4 RAM if you have money left. But an OCed i5 6600K is also a great option if you dont want spend big bucks. But ofc the 4790K is one of the fastest you can...

    Thats because Cemu is still in alpha. Everyone has those crashes and freezes. It is quite normal. Edit: I see. Maybe the fix from @shideravan can help.

    No offence comrade, but whats the deal with this predictions? it may generates maybe false hope (and also unnecessary pressure for the developer).
