I just wanted to add to this topic that the Lengkeng lkv8000 upscaler (hdmi out) works amazingly for full screen retro games on a hdtv. I was really surprised by how good nes and snes games look when smoothing is turned on in the emulator and the tv is set to 0 sharpness. I have a 40 inch hdtv...
