Homebrew Are there any ebook readers specifically for the 3DS?

I'm using v27.13.0 of Twlight Menu. I booted dslibris from there but I have set up a forwarder on my 3DS home menu. I'm not using a ram disk. I'm pretty sure

Homebrew Are there any ebook readers specifically for the 3DS?

I'm trying the Ram Disk method right now, and I'll take a look at the two homebrew programs afterwards. Thank you for the replies. 👍 1743691402 Okay so I tried that RAM Disk method but when I reinstalled dslibris w/ Universal Updater and booted it up , the books weren't there. So I swaped out...

Homebrew Are there any ebook readers specifically for the 3DS?

I know dslibris is a thing, but that's aimed towards the DS family and I don't own a DS or any flashcarts. I've sadly never been able to get that program to work properly on TWiLight Menu++ on my New3DS XL, it just crashes when I try to load a book. I'm also aware of "100 Classic Books", but...

    Favorite game ?

I've been getting into a lot of MegaTen this year and I've got to say Strange Journey has got to be my new favorite game on the DS.

Anemone does not recognize body_LZ.bin in .ZIP file

Every time I try to install a theme I made in Usagi in Anemone, I get a "No body_LZ found - is it a theme?" error even though body_LZ.bin does exist in the root of the .ZIP file. I've made sure that my BGM files do not exceed 3MB. What am I doing wrong?

Hacking Translation Looking to do a translation for the first time ever. How do I start?

I'm looking to translate one of the PawaPuro games on the PSP (I'm split between PawaPota 4 or PawaPuro 2011). I've never hacked a PSP game before. The most experience I've ever had with cracking open games is using Tinke to extract sprites from Powerful Golf for the NDS. That was a while ago...

ROM Hack How to open .BMB files inside certain DS Games?

Sometime in early 2022, I tried to use Tinke to view files inside Nettou! Powerful Koushien and Atsumare! Pawapuro Kun no DS Koushien. I couldn't do anything however because I couldn't figure out how to open these .BMB files, it just brought up a "NOTHING TO DO" error message when I tried...

What I have been working on lately

Today, I wanted to show off these drawings I'm currently working on. (Images are thumbnails.) I'm really proud of how these are coming out so far. I think I'm finally developing my style. Rokudou Hijiri, Aoi Hayakawa and Mitsuki Tachibana from PawaPuro. A study of lillypads. based on an...

Yuji Naka, other Square Enix employees arrested for insider trading

This whole thing is funny as fuck, I only know what Balan Wonderworld is bc of that video of somebody screaming and laughing hysterically at one of the shitty dance sequences and the fact the game failed to sell over 2,000 copies in it's first week in Japan. Balan is an anomaly, I can see why...

What weird/obscure gaming fact/story do you know?

I feel like most western PawaPuro fans are unaware of the SinYagu lawsuit. Sometime in 2004, Neople (The Dungeon Fighter people) along with HanbitSoft developed the first ever online baseball PC game in South Korea, it was called SinYagu (신야구). In or around 2005, Konami caught wind of this...

Hacking PPSSPP dumps weird green stencils instead of sprites on certain games.

Made a github account and filed an issue on the PPSSPP github page. Thanks for the advice. Update: Here's the GitHub issue: https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issues/16331 I was able to figure out why the emulator gave me green stencils. Turns out the sprites are in the green stencils and are...

What was your first/formative emulator experience?

Oooh I just remembered when I was really young and watching a Vsause DONG video where he brings up this online site that allowed you to play Nintendo games in your browser. I vividly remember playing Link to the Past and "Pokemon Jade" (Telefang) and not knowing what was going on. I forgot what...
