Tutorial Community noob guide to Wii U hacking

Hello. 1. To make eshop games run, you just need to run a CFW, any, HaxChi is the easiest in my opinion. 2. Wii games, if you want to have ALL games, you need a second HDD to load them in the vWii. If you just want a few, what you need is to convert them and inject them in the Wii. ( )...

Any chance scanning is simple and on the retroarch main settings? I mean, if I load retroarch I will see something like “scan directories”? “Scan games”?

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

Thanks for the help. I haven't done anything other than put all retroarch files in SD, and also put the roms on the SD. So I was reading that I need to do a playlist? Is there a way to just scan a folder on the SD from retroarch? I honestly don’t want to do box art as that is space I don’t...

Looking for some information if anyone can :) I have hacked the Wii U. Decided to go with just HaxChi and install games into a Wii U formatted HDD. I have installed games and all has been great. 1. Now I want to be able to play Wii games and GameCube games. I would need to hack the vWii. But...

To be 100% honest with you... If you just do the TUT and don't COLD BOOT, just use HAXCHI, I don't think you need to back up your NAND. Even if you BRICk your system with your NAND backed up, from my understanding, you need to know how to SOLDER to save your system. So... Yeah, I would just keep...

Hi all. To ask a question pertaining to above. I found a thread on how to make Wii and GC games injects for the Wii U, to load the game via the Wii U screen. But I see it needs an SD card for the games. Can the games be in the USB HDD instead? I am looking for threads on how to play RETRO...

Thanks for the answer. Now, is there a way to "autoboot to CFW" in a free version? Or for "autoboot to CFW" you need to buy a game?
