    I've tested a couple more (PAL Wii, Tesco DVD-R burnt at 4x) Wario Land Shake Dimension (PAL) - 1:1 version works perfectly, intro video is quite choppy but first few levels seem to be fine. Disaster Day of Crisis (PAL) - 1:1 version gives disc error after playing for 5 minutes

    Hacking 2 different Backup Launchers

    I think it depends on whether you have an NTSC or a PAL Wii. I understand that the Launcher works better on NTSC Wiis than Waninkoko's Loader but for me with a PAL Wii I've found no difference except with Samba de Amigo where Waninkoko's works better.

    Hi I ran Samba de Amigo (PAL version) on my PAL Wii using the new 'Gecko OS' loader and found that the songs were out of sync. When I use Waninkoko's loader it works fine. Anybody else had this issue?

    Hi, As far as I'm aware, Okariku Ping Pong (The JPN version) doesn't work on PAL Wiis. It just black screens.

    Yeah it should be - worked for me anyway. Just backup your save to SD then uninstall your current WAD and install the new WAD. Then copy your save back on to the Wii - it seems to work.

    Hi - just to let you know, the Okariku Ping Pong wad on your site doesn't work for PAL Wiis. It just black screens. On the other hand, Lonpos works a treat thanks!

    Sorry porchemasi - you posted while I was posting. That's handy info - so the only risk is an unknown one that Ninty will at some point in the future do something to stop all these shenanigans? I'm OK with that risk.
