Possibly some setting needed to be changed. Who knows. User error 100%. lol :P
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
If it doesn't work correctly out of the box, then NOPE
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Well. That explains it. Out of box settings are usually garbage for everything.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
TV's, consoles, Windows, Linux, antivirus, audio/video receivers, phones, browsers, VCR clock, etc. etc.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Can't rely on out of box settings for everything else, then I certainly wouldnt rely on out of box settings for my antivirus. :)
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
If you would have said the VCR Clock, I would have agreed with you. lol

    AVG is crap though

  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
@The Real Jdbye I think it all depends on the definitions being used at any given time. Like one day one might be slightly better and the next it could be something else.

I dont feel AVG is bad at all and continually gets good marks from the comparison sites in detections, false positives, and performance. But that doesn't mean a person cant have a bad experience with it. Just like everything else. Ive had bad experience with several, including KAspersky and Bitdefender. but I would never say they are crap. They aren't.

Post here, and please don't respond with those sorts of questions. It makes you come off as pretty lazy. If you have a question, please explain your situation briefly.
