Pokémon Crystal gets a PC port titled "suiCune" based on C/C++ language

I wonder if someone would bother porting over features from enhanced source based rom hacks like Polished Crystal which is way better than the original game. IMO.

Steam Deck gets a major price bump, more than 40% increase for US buyers

Oof. Seeing the lowest end Steam Deck at almost $800 has killed any hope the Steam Machine comes in under a grand. This RAM shortage needs to end yesterday.

    Homebrew [DS(i) & 3DS] AKMenu-Next - Wood frontend for nds-bootstrap & Pico-Loader

You know with AKMenu-Next 2.2.x, pico-loader 1.6.0, nds-bootstrap, and the emulator plus video plugins I can pretty confidently say the DSpico can replace all of my other flashcards. Wood UI, bult in emulator launching including GBA from slot-1, DSi SD card access, video playback, etc. It does...

Sony announces PlayStation Plus price increase for new customers starting May 20

Also, what market conditions require them to raise the price for the subscription that essentially just let's you use your own internet connection? These online subs have always essentially been a free money hack. Reminder, using your own internet connection is free on PC. This is just to...

Forza Horizon 6 leaks online after Steam preload data was uploaded without encryption

They got hwid banned too. So even if they make a new account they're still banned unless they spoof it (and hope it never fails or their new account gets banned) or they get a new PC.

Gaming S&box (pronounced Sandbox), the spiritual successor to Garry's Mod, is now released on Steam.

You haven't played it. There's a sausage character and a human model. Your customization options get applied to both. Moreover servers can ignore them entirely and provide their own models if they want too. A lot do. And it has it's own built in equivalent of the Steam workshop. It's actually a...

Gaming S&box (pronounced Sandbox), the spiritual successor to Garry's Mod, is now released on Steam.

Revolution? Probably not. It's pretty good as a Roblox like platform where you can release your own games. But the real magic here is that you can use it as an SDK to release standalone Source 2 games too. Say you release a fun little game that catches on and becomes popular in S&box. You can...

Gaming S&box (pronounced Sandbox), the spiritual successor to Garry's Mod, is now released on Steam.

From Facepunch comes Garry's Mod 2! Ahem, S&box! Rather than just being a simple Lua based modding platform for hacking together simple game modes S&box is more like a complete game engine development suite. With a unity like editor that allows you to make full games in Source 2 with either the...

Original ZSNES developers reunite, emulator gets a revival as Super ZSNES with a swath of new features

I don't like it tbh. If you're going to go that far with a fully custom UI go all the way.

Emulation Homebrew tico alpha 0.7.0 — GameCube and Wii now running on Switch (HOS), for the first time ever

That's on by default unless you use sys-clk to override it. When you actually get into a race there's a lot of slowdown and it seems like the game is moving in slow motion. It varies from track to track. The one with the bridge is pretty bad. Actually he has the GPU overclocked to 768Mhz by default.

Emulation Homebrew tico alpha 0.7.0 — GameCube and Wii now running on Switch (HOS), for the first time ever

Pretty much all the speed hacks are on by default and it's running at docked clocks. It also fails to run full speed on the Shield. Which has even higher clocks with plenty of thermal and power headroom. I don't possibly see how it could be my settings.

Emulation Homebrew tico alpha 0.7.0 — GameCube and Wii now running on Switch (HOS), for the first time ever

So I finally got around to trying this. It runs about how I expected tbh. I'm using the default overclock. I see the developer has Mario Kart listed as "Runs well" but the game runs in slow motion. It's basically the same as the performance on the Nvidia Shield. The easier stuff runs well though.
