That's helpful and good to know because I never closed my game and that could've meant losing almost 50 hours of gameplay and counting, but what exactly does that mean concerning my questions? That it's not possible to use DLC on backup games?- Nickienator

Ah, I see. Thank you. I thought it might be 4.5 or lower as the US version of the game it comes with is 4.5. Guess I'll just go with a second hand European 3DS, then.
