    I installed Luma ages ago on my nephews 3DS XL . He asked me to put some more games on it for him. I took the SD card out and popped it back in after copying something over to the cia folder.     If it wasn't an unpatched unit I would sell it for spares or simply do without the SD storage. Sadly the prices of unpatched units are high these days.
