    I reviewed that thread. It doesn't really cover the situation I have. I have tried a different battery. However, I would expect to get at least a .06 to .08 draw and drop to zero with no battery connected. I don't get that initial power draw. Thanks for the reply.

    I purchased a switch on ebay. I swapped out the USB port. Everything started up fine. However, I noticed the BQ chip was getting very hot.
