    just use provoke, if you're well equiped, you shouldn't have problems..have some medica and nectars and it's all done.. I defeated it when I was lvl 12, my party was: hoplite/buccanear/ninja princess/farmer

    no, it's not required. That's because you accepted a quest(don't remenber the name), and yes, it freezes in that battle.. just cancel the quest..

    it isn't 'random' this battle freezes...they occur always in the same battles you just have to avoid then..it will take some time to know then all, but at least you can play while waiting for a patch... big green bird always freezes the game..don' battle then. fights with 4 or more monsters...

    the game is so damn awesome, I can't stop playing it... Yes, it can freeze, but I'm not so sure if it's really 'random'..I think it's always freezes with certain battles only..I can't confirm it, but I manage to get to 4F doing this... first of all, I always play during night time, to avoid...

    I've been playing for 5~6 hours and besides the normal freezes(sailing and limits) it was ok.. until the morning arrives.. I don't know if it's just coincidence or not, the only 2 random freezes I got was while I was playing during day time.. one was already reported, 'fighting the big green...

    I have a wood r4 1.13 and I couldn't leave the shop. now with the nukethis file this problem is solved, but still freezes with limits and sailing. still, it's a lot better, at least I can play a little now(without selling stuff it's just not fun at all) waiting for a 100% working file!
