    Homebrew NZP for 3DS

Sorry to bump a very old thread. I am a developer for NZP and we just have put out a beta for the 3DS version. Feel free to stop by our forum to find a temporary download. Thanks!

Homebrew [WIP] Halo Solitude & Halo Revamped 3DS Port

I completely understand. I guess that we were lucky to have hardware rendering pre-established in the kurok/dquake engines in the PSP days. My advice to you to fix the muzzleflashes (I think they aren't transparent) is to modify the sprites in an editor by hand to see if that works. I haven't...

Homebrew [WIP] Halo Solitude & Halo Revamped 3DS Port

I've haven't been able to get my colors to actually become transparent, even though they display the right color (read in the palette as index 255). I've been able to change my colors from 0 0 255 to 159 91 83 successfully (which if I remember correctly is out[0] = out[1] = out[2] = out[3] = 0...

Homebrew [WIP] Halo Solitude & Halo Revamped 3DS Port

Unfortunately traditional transparency on PSP is taken care of by hardware rendering as I ran into this when I wrote an fps display for ctrQuake. Unfortunately you must conform to using the standard Quake transparency method: using the regular palette and setting the transparent parts to R: 159...

Homebrew [WIP] Halo Solitude & Halo Revamped 3DS Port

I did a very very basic port to test how the models and other things functioned on the 3DS, along with playing with a few other things. It was extremely rough and just a test to see how the CPU handled it (NOT WELL). I am by no means working on it. It's true that a lot of the PSP quake mods ran...

Homebrew [WIP] Halo Solitude & Halo Revamped 3DS Port

Glad to see you still working Mexi... This doesn't take advantage of hardware acceleration, right? You're just working off of the CPU port @MasterFeizz did? I've run into major problems with the NZP "port" that I tease since it's CPU driven (no HLBSP, WAD3 (if I remember correctly)) What...

Hacking How to properly use the 3.51 exploit?

This was a while ago, but I figured it out now. The Jap demo is a demo for the PSP version of the game and therefore we can launch VHBL. The NA version is a PSVita demo and therefore we don't have access to VHBL. I read that Pool Hall Pro works too, but I'm in the same boat you are.

Hacking How to properly use the 3.51 exploit?

I'm a bit new to the Vita scene, and I can't seem to find the correct way to send over my Homebrew apps. Am I supposed to get another PSP game demo and have savedata, then overwrite that? Any help is appreciated, thanks. Edit: If anyone has a suggestion for a PSP Demo with savedata on the...

Hacking Any way to use Internal Storage as a drive for homebrew?

I have a PS Vita with a 1 gig internal storage. I'm new to the Vita scene and luckily downloaded the Toukiden Kiwami demo from the Japanese store before it was pulled. I threw VHBL on there but I'm confused as how I transfer my other files on there (other homebrew apps). Do I NEED one of...
