    I used usb loader gx, and I don't have any partitions on the sd card (64gb, fat32, IFS).

    Crazy update! I tried using the sd card as a USB device with the wii to run the backups from USB and not SD.... And it worked!!! I still Have the disc channel problem, but I can just rip the games and play them from the sd card. Could this mean that my wii doesn't read files from the SD card...

    Disabling system menu hacks didn't work, but I can't install bootmii as boot2, only as an ISO. How common is it for a wii to get bricked while trying to get a fresh nand installation? Also, thanks alot for the help, being so patient, and also developing modmii! Peace

    I think I might have gotten a bit confused, I got redirected to the hbc when trying to run games from my sd card also before disabling deflicker. Sorry for the confusion

    My wii remotes disconnect during the blackscreen and the only way to shut down the console is to hold the power button for a while... I removed the deflicker, and when I tried to lunch some backups it redirected me to the hbc...

    Yes, these are original discs. They get recognized by the disc channel but all I get by lunching them through the disc channel is a blackscreen.     I have a region swapped wii, that was originally Japanese but is now on 4.3U. When I run games from my sd card I get a blackscreen, and pimp my wii did find some problems. The issue is, it fails to install the wads I need for my console to work properly. What should I do?
