    So I need to have a SD card with enough free space and there is no way to directly copy to usb hdd? That means it's a two step progress, first copy to SD, then convert/install to hdd, right? Thanks for your help!

    Nope! Got a notification that the eShop will be closed for Wii U and thus never tried to connect since mid 2020. Will try ASAP. auto OMG, you're right, it still works! :D
