Homebrew [Release] Cthulhu - app for managing play time, step history and cached icon data

@Ryuzaki_MrL: can you check the .cia link at github? It references to a .xml, I think.

Homebrew [Release]JK's SaveManager - Homebrew CIA Save manager.

Try an (dummy) export of the game on your JP device, and have a look at the directories. The directory names might be slightly different - I saw that on JP-ACNL compared to other ACNLs. In one version there was a ":" in the name, that is replaced by a blank. Though you can "successfully" import...

Hacking 3DS will not turn on after updating luma?

It was a mixture of Luma being on 7.1 and the boot.firm 8.0. I put the 7.1-boot.firm on SD-root and the console came up!:) Thanks Quantumcat for the hint! Updated now to 8.0 with Rosalina allowing HB from unsuspicious Apps and all is fine now. I think, Luma 8.0 already shows an error message on...

Hacking 3DS will not turn on after updating luma?

She worked the "A9LH to B9S" and after deleting arm9loaderhax.bin from CTRNAND and SD and rebooting, the problem came up. My first thought was that the console is still under A9LH but copying a new arm9loaderhax.bin to SD didn't work. Of course it's no real brick, but it behaves as such.:) I...

Hacking 3DS will not turn on after updating luma?

Can you explain more detailed what you did to "unbrick"? A friend's New3DS shows the same symptoms after updating B9S. Yet I do not know exactly, what she did. But the device shows blue LED for a second then switches off again. ...like under A9LH when arm9loaderhax.bin was missing or the SD was...

Homebrew Unmount microSD Card through .cia?

Ah, great and such a quick response!:) The .3dsx looks as if it works as expected. When starting it says "SD unmounted!". Removing the SD physically is detected - "Removed SD card!" Re-inserting SD is detected and it exits as expected without error messages from the system. Is there a way to...

Homebrew [Release]JK's SaveManager - Homebrew CIA Save manager.

Of course I didn't want to incriminate you as a liar! :) You saw a faulty behaviour on your system, no doubt about that! Just wanted to state, that I cannot reproduce the error. I'm sorry, if my answer sounded harsh, that definitely wasn't my intention!

Homebrew [Release]JK's SaveManager - Homebrew CIA Save manager.

Cannot confirm what NinelivesBobcat reports. Exchanged the JKSM-saves of two ACNLs (both download games of course) from different consoles works with no problems on either one. Also switching between recent saves and older ones show no problem. O3DSXL and N3DSXL both 11.4E, Luma 8.0, B9S 1.2...

Homebrew [Release]JK's SaveManager - Homebrew CIA Save manager.

    > I just checked. You can also hold L + R as it boots and it'll work just like the CIA version. When I select a game - let's say ACNL - it shows all IDs 00000000 (8x0s), Prod. Code :<empty> and a line Unique: 8x0s also. When I do it with the game itself as HB starter, it shows correct IDs an...

Homebrew [Release] Cthulhu - app for managing play time, step history and cached icon data

When I enter "Edit software library" and then hit 2xB to leave without changes and then "any key", the tool crashes to the main menu. I think it should reboot at that point but even pressing START at "any key" crashes the tool to main menu. O3DS 11.4E B9S A little wish from me: I use Cthulhu...

Homebrew [Release] Cthulhu - app for managing play time, step history and cached icon data

Saw a possible flaw in 1.3.2 .CIA: it states to be "Cthulhu v1.3.1" on the opening screen. I deinstalled the app via system settings and re-installed via FBI to be sure I did not install the old 1.3.1 by accident. Can anyone confirm the wrong version in starting screen?

    Hacking 11.1.0-34 firmware update out

My StreetPass relay gives no visitors on a 11.1 but plenty on a 11.0. Maybe they changed the SSIDs or MACs the console is listening.

    Hacking 11.1.0-34 firmware update out

@cravas: thank you for the enlightening link!:) I use ACNLs JPN and USA (this is RF) and description files in /luma/locales for them. Both work on 11.1 A9LH+Luma 6.1.2 (normal). I was able to visit both cities via online.

    Hacking 11.1.0-34 firmware update out

I thought that blue screen BOOTROM had something to do with the ability to read/write the NAND by the hardmod's card reader. As to say there has to be a rudimentary software running to access the NAND by hardmod. Thinking over it that blue screen might also be just a side effect when the card...

    Hacking 11.1.0-34 firmware update out

Just wanted to verify hardmod still working under 11.1 by myself. Tests on a 2DS-EUR. I "downgraded" with an old 10.3 native (=no hacks) hardmod image I had in backup, then let the system upgrade to 11.1. After checking 11.1 was "native" (no luma, no CIA-icons) I downloaded it with my hardmod (I...
