    Rried that and it didnt help me but that was on the older firmware. perhaps this is an undocumented feature of the new firmware. i wont be hosing it again just to find out anyway... ;-)

    I have to totally agree with you here. I made a conscious decision to try it not really knowing if it would work or not and I only have myself to blame for bricking vWii mode.

    I had done that before I bricked it. I can't remember off the top of my head what I used but I had restored trucha bug to ios 36. I remember that I couldn't use wad installers before I did this and afterwards I could.

    The worst thing they can do is send it back to me unrepaired which I'm fine with to be honest as it still works fine in WiiU mode.

    That hasn't worked I'm afraid. I've already sent a repair request so I'm awaiting their shipping labels to come back to me. This kinda sucks! At least I can still use it for proper Wii U stuff though. I don't think I'll be installing homebrew channel on it when I get it back though...
