Misc Rumor Zelda Breath of the Wild 3DS build

This really reminds me of the story behind the Breath of the Wild demake for the DS, nobody had any idea who had made it.

Super Mario 64 has really become the "new Doom" hasn't it? Someone just ported it to the Zeebo.

It sort of is, and sort of isn't. When the Zeebo launched, Android didn't even exist yet, and mobile gaming was still in its infancy compared to what it is today. Still... it used Qualcomm's BREW, a mobile operating system, so you could sort of call it an Ouya. It had some good, highly...

Super Mario 64 has really become the "new Doom" hasn't it? Someone just ported it to the Zeebo.

I don't think it's impossible, just extremely difficult. The closest thing we've seen so far was a recreation for Game Boy Color.

Super Mario 64 has really become the "new Doom" hasn't it? Someone just ported it to the Zeebo.

Ever since the Mario 64 recompilation project gave us the game's source code, I’ve seen it ported to various platforms Wii U, PS Vita, 3DS, Dreamcast, and even much more limited consoles like the PS1 and GBA. Somehow, even the Zeebo just got a port. The Zeebo was a console released only in...

It’s decent enough - an early look at Oblivion Remastered on Switch 2

Looks better than the Series S version.

Is there any chance of overclocking or using the Wii U's extra hardware power to improve performance?

Homebrew Quake 3 is being ported to Wii U

Does the Wii U version run at native 1080p or is it upscaled? Also, technically the PS3 supports 1080p, wouldn't it be possible to run it at 1080p on that system too, or is it not feasible due to RAM limitations?

Homebrew Quake 3 is being ported to Wii U

Ironically, this is one of the rare cases where a Wii U game has better graphics, resolution, and most importantly frame rate than the PS3 version, and it isn't even an official port. Memes aside, it’s great to see people utilizing the extra hardware power the Wii U has over the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Sony announces shutdown of the PlayStation Store for the PS3 and Vita

With Sony set to close the PS3 and PS Vita PlayStation Stores, it’s a good time to remember that PS1, PS2, and PSP titles often feature cross-buy or a free upgrade to the PS5 version. (Plus, some PS Vita and PS3 games also grant you the PS4 version for free.) For example, if you buy the PS1...

Super Mario 64 gets a brand new port on the Nintendo DS, brings support for full local multiplayer

The Zeebo was a console released by TecToy in Brazil in 2008. Its production lasted only until 2011, being released only in Brazil, Mexico, China, and India. It was the first and only 100% digital console, without the use of physical media. The console was a resounding failure. It had good...
