Hacking Not sure where to put isth SD card is fat 32 and the game i have is 12.9 gb

Also you really don't need fancy update shenanigans to get exFAT support, simply extract your SYSTEM:/Contents/ folder from a NAND backup, put it on SD and use ChoiDuJourNX to apply your current firmware with exFAT support.

Tutorial How to downgrade 5.1.0 to 5.0.2

It's a register that can be read relatively easily after installing a new firmware. Someone takes the dive, then reports if it burnt a fuse or not so it can be documented.

Tutorial How to downgrade 5.1.0 to 5.0.2

Tthe 5.1.0 update didn't burn a fuse so a downgrade is perfectly possible. OP may not have proof but since the procedure is fairly easy to perform if you have a 5.x NAND backup I don't doubt the legitimacy of this video.

Hacking Pegaswitch compatible with 4.1.0 firmware

To be honest I didn't actually use PegaSwitch after that because most scripts simply won't run on 4.1 (the required services work somewhat differently in 4.1), it was more the thought that I could write my own scripts if I chose to. Don't have a real use for PegaSwitch atm.

Homebrew RELEASE Gag Order - A fix for "Supernag"

No, this screen can not be removed as the titles require the corresponding firmware to work. EDIT: My bad, misread the text on your screen, thought you were seeing a cart update message. The message you see there can be removed without any tools! Simply boot into recovery mode (not RCM) by...

Homebrew Question Can the Switch Downgrade?

There are 2 types of updates on the Switch: Those that burn fuses and those that don't. Whenever an update burns a fuse, that means NAND backups from before that update can not be booted anymore. So if you update from 4.1.0 to 5.0.1 for example, you burn a fuse, meaning you can not downgrade to...

    Yes, that works once again.

Just tested it, it works! Finally a way to run PegaSwitch on my 4.1. You are my hero! :)

Hacking Discussion Bricking your Switch on purpose or: How AutoRCM works

Personally I use rajkostos briccmii. Both seem fine though.

Hacking Discussion Bricking your Switch on purpose or: How AutoRCM works

It is generally not a good idea to mix AutoRCM methods but from the current builds I can tell you this: rajkosto's briccmii can reverse the changes made by CTCaer's Hekate mod but not the other way around. (Technically there is a 1 in 255 chance that your briccmii install can be reversed by...

Hacking Discussion Bricking your Switch on purpose or: How AutoRCM works

Hey there, I'm not aware of a method to installing code to sysNAND yet. Would you enlighten me as to how this works? Every method I know of only lasts until the next reboot.

Hacking WebFG - stuck at "Preparing to launch uploaded"

From the WebFG page: This does NOT work on Windows due to a limitation in the Chrome implementation of WebUSB (and probably other reasons!)

Hacking Discussion Bricking your Switch on purpose or: How AutoRCM works

Right. You need a jig, paperclip, modded joycon etc. to enter RCM for the first time (every time if you do not choose to use AutoRCM). If you have achieved RCM you can use briccmii to automatically start in RCM every time but that also means you CAN NOT BOOT NORMALLY ANYMORE while the AutoRCM is...
