    They are on the external and no I have not tried internal. No it doesnt have an external power or y-cable. I can try a y-cable, but not seeing why one is needed when this HDD only requires the cable. Are the Ports not providing enough voltage?

    If I have not installed CBHC am I able to reformat my Wii U to start over without worrying about it bricking? After looking over the information, it looks like I jumped the gun on some things. So I just want to start fresh and would want to do it via reformatting my system.
