I followed the instructions at GitHub, downloaded Zadig and I don't see APX listed in the device manager, just Nintendo Switch - and even that only appears briefly because the Switch powers up and then disappears from the list. I can't get into RCM mode as the instructions advise.
I downloaded TegraRCMSmash but I'm not sure what to do with it. It doesn't seem to launch. Also, is it not an issue that I am not in RCM? Doesn't the update via Nintendo switch off AutoRCM (just going by things I've read elsewhere)? What about maintenance mode? Could that be an option?
When should I hold R? While in album? While booting up? Tried both and still in OFW. Or should I do this while connected to a device with TegraRcmGUI?
Cheers.
So I placed 2.9.4 boot file in root (replacing the earlier file). System still boots directly into OFW and TegraRcmGUI does not detect RCM. What am I doing wrong?
Sorry, hammering you with questions here. Should I update SX OS on the card first or is there a way to back up my nand ahead of that without access to the CFW/SX OS menu on the Switch? I had not had not a chance to install choidujournx on the Switch prior to this accidental update.
Sorry, I meant latest version of SX OS. Thanks again for your help!
I suppose this means there's no way to back up my nand at this point, correct? Just trying to do this as safely as possible.
How do I update the CFW without access to SX OS? Do I just download FW V2.9.4 from the Team Executer site and install directly to the SD card? Thanks for your reply!
My kid updated to 9.2 in OFW before I could do it properly with ChoiDujourNX (which I had not yet installed, this was going to my first time updating the FW). I now can't boot into CFW and only OFW launches when I shutdown/restart. I have no nand backup (even though that was my plan when...
