Hacking Question A few questions about Hekate NAND Backup

Thanks for the quick reply. That is the only backup from before I installed .NSPs. So just to be sure, in case I 'softbrick' my console restoring a broken NAND, I can just restore my perfect NAND backup to have a probably banned, yet usable console?

Hacking Question A few questions about Hekate NAND Backup

Basically, I dumped my Switch NAND to a 32 GB SD Card. It was a partial NAND backup thanks to some files taking about a hundred MBs I had there. Now, the dumping was going smoothly. At the last part, it told me to take the SD card off and free some space, which I did by taking some dumped parts...

Hacking [RCM Payload] Hekate - CTCaer mod

I got a question. I did a partial NAND backup with the latest version, and everything seemed fine. My SD card is barely under 32 GB thanks to some files, so it dumped almost all 2GB parts alright. Once it tells me to make some space, I take the SD card out, put it on my PC, take the dumps out...

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

I have just one (1) question: When is it safe to remove the jig? I'm really scared about the paperclip I'm using, since it's pressing against the pins. Just paranoid.

    Homebrew Sysupdater and EmuNAND?

I've been wanting to mess with the 2.1.0 firmware that was used in the process to install arm9loaderhax. Is it possible for either decrypt9's CTRTransfer option or Sysupdater to downgrade my EmuNAND back to it? Is there any chance it could brick my console? I'm on 11.0 Sys with A9LH and Luma3DS...

ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

Alright, the site is up, but I was wondering if there's a way to restore a lost save's status. Is it not possible to, for example, upgrade Nook's store, house, the days that the town has, etc?

ROM Hack Tomodachi Life EUR not working on USA 3DS with A9LH + Luma3DS

First, enable region/language emulation in Luma settings (Press Select when booting the console). Then: In this case you'd need Tomodachi Life's title id, which is 000400000008C400, as the name of your .txt Then, inside the .txt, it should be "EUR [Language code]". For example EUR ES.

ROM Hack [Tutorial] How to Decrypt, Extract & Rebuild a CIA

Yep, apparently an error appears. It roughly translates to "Windows couldn't run this file. Make sure to know which version of Windows you're running (x86 or x64) and ask the developer for your needed version."

ROM Hack [Tutorial] How to Decrypt, Extract & Rebuild a CIA

Yep, checked all of that, but my computer is a 32-Bit PC, thus I can't change folders. The .cia is called simply "rom", and I do type only the name, without the extension. As I said, I did install SteupXX (US in my case.). I have also tried inputting 'CIA', 'CE' and 'CIAE', all taking me to...

ROM Hack [Tutorial] How to Decrypt, Extract & Rebuild a CIA

What could the problem be if I followed every direction but the Toolkit says that the extraction was succeeded? No new folders are made, and the program takes about half a second to show the message. Yes, I did install SetupUS
