    Ok so I just found out that I answered my own question in that last sentence. :I Playing DS carts will require you to re-install the MSET exploit again. Heads up for anyone who'd ever encounter it.

    try starting from scratch and updating your emunand from 9.2 to the latest.

    Then do what @thedude28 said first, get/update your firmware.bin. Go back to the cfw installation guide if you don't know where to find it (ctrl+f firmware.bin)

    Hi, just got my new SD card and i've been failing to get FBI injected to the H&S app. It does install, as rxTools says, but when I open the app, it doesn't run FBI. The old SD still runs it just fine...so is there some sort of hidden relation between my old sd and the 3DS? Is cloning/injecting...

    I see, but there's still an underlying question beyond that -- with a JP 3DS playing a US cart, does that still restrict him from playing online at all? I mean he should have a japanese NNID at the least, no?

    I have a friend who has a JP 3DS coming his way, is there a way to at least play US retail carts on it...or does simply changing emuNAND's region fix that? Do I even have to region-swap it at all?

    Oh thanks, I know about exporting but I'll save that in my notes anyway. I'll still be using the old SD, and there's no issue in needing to transfer anything thus far, so I'm good.
