    I have not done the alcohol or anything, but after the spillage (which was about a week or 2 ago) I took the battery out and let it dry for a few days. Then I turned it on and got the qtm error.

    yes, it does say "Booted from sd via B9S" (And yeah liquid and electronics don't mix well.)
