    So I did the first 7 steps and my new 3ds xl worked for a while but now it’s back to being soft brick. I’ll try steps 8 and 9 and hopefully it’ll work :(

    Thanks, im in step 6, however my sd card is full, how do i erase some spare installed games so i can do the backup, do i just erase them from my 3ds menu?

    nope, i mean it kinda did but then it crashed so i reset it, and then it crashed again so i restart it again, and then i tried turning it on and the "Unable to mount CTRNAND or load the CTRNAND FIRM" thing appeared so i restart it another time and it turned on normally(without any of the SD...
