    the upgrades i have are downloaded from the eshop and on my sd card. the xcis i have on my mig are regular switch copies that have been out for years. apparently hogwarts legacy will behave the same way if you use the regular switch version and go into a menu to get the $10 upgrade

    set up an emmunand on a spare sd card, downgraded it to 19.0.0 and 3d all stars worked mario 64 crashes when i try to play it too. so not a perfect solution to push switch 1 versions of updates

    i bought the upgrades from the eshop, totk just worked with my xci, botw didn't because it was a lower version of the cart and it needed an update. borrowed a copy of botw just to insert and update and now it works fine. all of this could be done offline after the initial upgrades are installed...
