AFAIK Redis is a FBSD service that runs at startup once configured. No forcing of a webkit.

If I was stuck on a low firmware with not much going on, I would install a Linux distro on the console. I'm seeing reports of games from gtav to AC Black flags resynced running 4k @ 60fps. Afaik Linux works up to 7.61 and 2.xx is being worked...
