    An update for anyone following this – the issue was isolated to a particular version of the S71 NOR chip. EZ-Flash is preparing a V5 firmware version that will fix the issue. I've tested the beta FW & it has resolved all of my issues. ^_^

    Yes, it had the latest firmware already installed (kernel 1.03 and firmware 4.0). I did try re-flashing the firmware, and it did not fix the issue. Thanks for reaching out. I've sent photos of the board via DM, as requested, and linked them here as well.
