    Yes, I cleaned them I checked all transistors, 12v, 8v and 5v My adapter is modified with a SATA conversion kit, but I tried it before the conversion and the PS2 didn´t load the HDD

    Yess, the fuses are OK I´m using a 3.5" HDD, also tried a 2.5" one and the same happens

    Thw power supply has 4 pins, 2 gave me 12v and the other 2 where ground, no 5v

    Today I reopened the console and checked the power supply, I get 11.94v in two points that directly connect to the motherboard, when the HDD spins there is no voltaje drop, so I think the power supply is working fine. Also if it were a blown fuse... The HDD wouldn´t spin at all... I don´t...

    What do you mean by appearing in homebrew? The connection on the PS2 is clean, first time using and HDD in the console

    I have a similar problem in my 50004 PS2, I tried different hard drives and different adapters (oficial/gamestar) and when I turn on the console, the HDD spins for some seconds , then it stops and doesn´t load anything. I checked all fuses and they are working fine. Any suggestions??

    Same, try the kernel I post above, extract the kernel files with 7zip to your 16gb sdcard
