    Ok i get it but what if the nand backup is corrupted? can't be positive that its ok because the card just died on me will it brick my console if its corrupted?

    It's a fresh 3ds out of the box, no data there started do guide after first launch. So if i'm reading it right i can just go on with the installation? Is the nand backup required in any later step of the guide?

    no i don't know how i missed this (sd card check) at the top of the picking of 3ds model :< how do i do a ctrtransfer from 2.1 soft? Does it means i need to recover the nandbackup with ctrtransfer? Is it safe, cant be sure if the file i backed up to my computer is good now ;/
