    Thanks, that seems to have done the trick. I found a program called USB helper that I've been using to get backups, swapped the boot.dol in the nintendont folder on sd & adding them to HDD with wup installer gx.

    That is what I used to make the injects. It has an option on it to download the latest Nintebdont. Still get the black screen. I've googled the hell out of it, loads of people seem to get it but nobody knows the cause which is why I'm trying to use a workaround found elsewhere.

    auto Okay, Ive managed to install the HBC on Wii U that when you run it takes you to HBC in VWii, with gamepad support. Next question, how to I get Game Cube games onto HDD to play from Nintendont?

    Thank you for your reply. Ive done all this so far, and got a game working. I cant figure out how to get it from SD card to usb HDD. I recall a long long time ago when I softmodded a wii you just used a wbfs tool and put games on HDD via PC, I just dont remember the method to do it for GC games...

    Morning all. I was going to attempt to softmod the Vwii side of my sons Wii-U and stumbled across this new method. Was wondering if you still need to install priiloader afterwards? Also, in regards to Nintendont, do you need the GC discs or can you play downloaded backups somehow? Thanks.

    Well that was a lot simpler, a bit delayed, but simpler. Whats the problem with Loadiine? I have an external HDD which I used on the Wii when I softmodded that, I do plan to getting around to running games from there, just cba atm, wanna break from all this computer hackery :P
