OK. So, I've got my wife's 9.9J N3ds in hand. In the mail, a Sky3ds+, Gateway, and my 8.1J. I'll downgrade the wife's to 9.2. Do Oot/CN (sky3ds) on there to get into GW and save. So, pardon me for being late to catch on, but I just ordered a JN3DS with 8.1J on it yesterday, without realizing the consequences of what I had done. I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
