    Missing SB Capacitor value

Hello. Does anyone know the value of this capacitor? It is missing on a board I am repairing. Thanks! 1741111916 Got the value from a different board with a 90061gg SB, different, but should be the same. It was a 10uf cap.

PS5 random shutdowns after 30-90 sec. Error code B0088108. Other times no beep.

I do not have a thermal cam, I normally rely on alcohol to find shorts. I understand that in this case, a thermal cam would be much better to find faulty ram. I was thinking the SSD controller, since it does recieve power when "pre booting" or "post check", so it is one thing that the SB could...

PS5 random shutdowns after 30-90 sec. Error code B0088108. Other times no beep.

PSU is ruled out as most of this testing was done with a bench supply. And it's not a placebo, it is running some kind of post tests, but for a varying amount of time, from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, sometimes longer, before it let's me power it up. A normal post test takes about 5 seconds after...

PS5 random shutdowns after 30-90 sec. Error code B0088108. Other times no beep.

Even if the screen does not freeze? And if so, what would be the cause of the no boot? As the ram is not powered before pressing the power button

PS5 random shutdowns after 30-90 sec. Error code B0088108. Other times no beep.

Hello. I have a PS5 I have been working the past week. It has two issues, that I imagine come from the same fault, as the owner says it started doing both around the same time. The first fault is it shutting off without warning or beeps, this happens within about 30 to 90 seconds of it being on...

PS5 missing resisor near XDPE, Anyone know the value?

Thanks! Sadly it being missing was not the issue. The console still acts the same. Random no power, or random shut downs after 20 - 60 seconds.

PS5 missing resisor near XDPE, Anyone know the value?

Hello. Can anyone help me out with the value of a missing ressistor? I am guessing it's the same on all boards. Mine is an EDM-003. Symptoms: Random no power, no beep. Sometimes it will power on and last about 1 to 5 minutes on, then power off without a warining. The console had been...

Hacking Can boot boot OFW v6 (downgraded) but black screen in CFW

So, I can boot up to 11.0.1 in OFW (booted through hekate). But once I install any 12.x version, it will not boot nor through hekate, nor directly. Also, cant boot cfw in ANY version, I have tried, v6.0, v10.0 and v11.0.1. Everything is just a black screen, and it is not the sd or installation...

Hacking Can boot boot OFW v6 (downgraded) but black screen in CFW

Hello. I got a nintendo switch that came in unmodded, it wouldn't boot, just a black screen, no backlight, nothing. After checking the motherboard, there was no obvious fault and the battery would charge at full speed. So I decided to inject hekate, thinking maybe the owner tried to mod it or...

Hacking Updated to 11.0, then restored nand, blue screen

Downgraded with the guide on switch homebrew guide to 6.0, since I could only find the keys to 6.0. It booted up, and I updated it back to 11.0. Seems to be working fine now. Thanks.

Hacking Updated to 11.0, then restored nand, blue screen

Edit. The page erased my message. Ignore this one. auto Thanks, this is what I was thinking of doing, I read quickly about it, but the console keys seem to not have been backed up. Ill read some more to make sure everything can be done, and give this a try. Thanks.

Hacking Updated to 11.0, then restored nand, blue screen

My friend restored the nand once, that´s what started this mess, I have already restored it again with boot0 and boot1. I also compared boot0 and boot1 to the files with the same name in the emunand folder, and they are exactly the same (cmd fc /b). Just in case they were somehow corrupted...

Hacking Updated to 11.0, then restored nand, blue screen

Hello. I am trying to help a friend out, I have been out of the switch hack scene for awhile now. Anyway, he tells me that he had a working switch with cfw, but decided to update to 11.0 online. It worked, but the cfw obviously didn't. So he decided to restore his nand backup that he made on who...

Homebrew 03ds updated to luma 8 on arm9, black screen

I just tried 11.0 - 11.4 since he says it was on a 11.x firmware. But with each one all I get is a blue rom screen when pressing the power button.

Homebrew 03ds updated to luma 8 on arm9, black screen

I can hardmod, I do it all the time to downgrade, or now to patch boot9 into nand. But without a nand backup I cant think of any way to unbrick. Maybe patch boot9 to the nand but for that I would have to know what version firmware it was on.
