    exFAT is for the microSD that goes in the Gateway Red Card while the emuNAND is stored in the 3DS SD, so your question makes no sense. Unless you're referring to formatting the internal SD as exFAT in which I case there's simply no benefit and probably no native support in the 3DS either...

    I've had these a couple times, just give it time it normally boots into Gateway mode, although at times it freezes and you have to turn off the DS and start over. It's probably linked with the quality of your SD card.

    That is not a bug. The 3DS reboots when you back out of System Settings, whether on sysNAND or emuNAND, there's nothing they can do about that.     Also important to note, it appears once you upgrade to Omega you can no longer go back to previous versions, so make sure everything is working properly before you update as you may no longer be able to fix things by downgrading.

    If your 3DS firmware is between 4.1 and 4.5 you're good. You just replace the Launcher.dat with the new one on the 3DS SD.
