Hacking I want to stream Video's and Music to my Wii

mplayerwii can stream mp3 radiostations. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Homebrew_apps/MPlayerWii There is a config file for the mplayer. You have to put the config file to the root of your sd card. It has a section for mp streaming which you could edit: CODE# This command adds a new streaming entry...

Hacking New Media Player For Wii

I don't understand why to bitch about any media player that is coming or not on th wii. It's not helpful in any way. Just wait and there will be a media player that will work for good. The wii scene is just starting.

    Wad Manager 1.1 (USB SUPPORT!)

Wiimedia Channel or Player with usb support I would buy such Wiiware, if Nintendo would sell mediaplayer software. But installing wads from usb is not a milestone imho. Anyway it's not a reason for flaming. I guess some point of views differ, in which way 'homebrew' should go.

Hacking Error with Waninkoko & HBC

excuse me, LinkinParkmetre: have you read the postings of both developers? i dont think, that bushing will ever make an update only for that reason to get waninkokos tools working with hbc. he made his point above. Hacking Are torrents safe?

I just don't understand one thing: in which way should be downloading a wad file dangerous for the OS on the PC? it's not a file that can be executed or be opened in any way. if your dl client has any malicous code or security leak, that would be dangerous. Installing a wad file could be...

Hacking How to make MFE player working??

.h264 in an avi-container does not work for me. According to the list codecs supported by mediaplayer it uses the x86 DLL for this. I guess this is not included in MFE.

Hacking How to make MFE player working??

Some AVI-files don't work on my SD card with MFE. My guess: MFE ist not supporting all codecs that could be in the avi-container. Mplayer on Win or Linux can play all files. Is there a list of all supported formats by MFE?

Homebrew Homebrew Channel (icon, xml, elf) apps packages thread

@DoyleBrunson: you need the mamefs-fs file in the root of your SD card. this file is missing in the mame-file of this thread. you can get the file from http://wiibrew.org/index.php?title=Homebrew_apps/SDL_MAME. you also need a folder named mameroms (with the romfiles) in the root of your SD.

Gaming My Space Is Filled D:

you can move channels or VC on your SD card with the wii. they're all signed for your wii, so the games will not work in any other wii. This is an official way to backup things. if you purchased the games in the shop channel, then you can delete any unused channel/VC. It will be downloadable...
