    Seeing this made me wonder if it is a software issue. I had an issue with sound previously which I fixed with software, but this only works when the touchscreen and circle pad problems aren’t happening. When they happen, my sound once again doesn’t work. It has cfw so maybe dropping it somehow...

    Is there some chip that controls them both? If there is I don’t know if it could have been damaged during the drop or not. It wasn’t a very high drop, only about 20cm

    This may be a stupid question but can the circle pad and c stick be used at the same time? The circle pad is giving no response when I try and move it which suggests that is the problem, but I am unsure. Could a faulty circle pad also cause touchscreen issues? 1713820776 Would 3dsident help at all?

    Thanks for replying. I’ve taken it apart and reseated the digitiser and touchscreen cables, nothing changed after that. Is there anything else I should try?

    The problems with cfw were that I kept getting errors when trying to run some apps, so you clearly didn’t read my post about that 1713276037 If I did need to reattach the connectors for the circle pad and digitizer would you recommend any guides?

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
