    I ran modmii and it said i needed to insert a wii game (it gave me a few options of games) in order to continue softmodding (since im on 2.2) however it said if i was on 4.1 or higher i wouldnt need to do this, so how can i safely update to 4.1 and then run modmii?

    Hi guys, I have a pretty old wii that was hardmodded with the wiikey chip and it is currently on firmware 2.2. Just wondering how I can make my wii so that it can play new games while still keeping the mod so that I can still play my old (burned) games? should i soft mod through modmii?

    Just recently got a modded wii from someone and recently tried to play Mario galaxy but it said that the system needed to be updated. It's currently 2.2U and it's modded with wiikey. Is it safe to update or can that brick the wii? Thanks
