Tutorial Fixing system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering | using redNAND with ISFShax

Sorry first of all are you saying i should cancel the process which is going on right now (the LED has been blinking blue for about an hour now)? Its still on the wii u menu screen with blinking blue light. Also how would I go about deleting my partition, and resizing my fat32 one, and creating...

Tutorial Fixing system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering | using redNAND with ISFShax

So are you saying I should turn off my wii u to stop the mlc building process and go back in the guide? Cause I really wasnt too sure with the whole formatting partitions section, I think the only thing I did was go into minute and click on format redNAND which seemed to split my SD card into...

Tutorial Fixing system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering | using redNAND with ISFShax

The MLC partition mismatch error from my image 2 replies above came up alongside a flashing amber LED and I selected continue but instead of it giving that 'no patch file' error or the redirect partitions error it took me to wii u loading screen, then menu and then it took me back to the same...

Tutorial Fixing system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering | using redNAND with ISFShax

Ive just tried the new fw.img and it seems to have worked. My wii u was able to get to the wii u menu screen and i can hear the loading sounds as well. I did have to press eject to continue twice because the same message from before popped up but after the second eject it took me to the wii u...

Tutorial Project How to set up ISFShax

So i ended up spending a while attempting to use UDPIH and I managed to get up the recovery menu and select load BOOT1 payload but the problem was that whenever I clicked on that there would be no output to the gamepad or the tv and the LED would go from purple to amber, so then I looked at a...

Tutorial Project How to set up ISFShax

I held B after clicking on HAXX and it took me to the screen so i clicked on fw img loader and it showed me that pink screen like it did in the video and then it just took me back to the wii u menu screen permanently, the console light also stays blue throughout the whole process.

I turned the wii u on, went into browser and then went to the website, then i put the sd card in and clicked on haxx and i just waited, thats when it took me back to the home menu. I also tried turning the wii u on then putting the...

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
