    Update number 2: I'm taking a wild guess that I can't play online because I'm launching games through Loadiine. Whoops, my bad. Though, this doesn't explain why my (retail disc) Mario Kart 8 completely freezes the console upon launch. Is there anything I can do about that?

    Thanks for the info, I removed the DNS settings, but I still get error code 102-2471 when I launch Wii Sports Club, and straight after that it still says that it couldn't find an internet connection... auto Update: The Wii U freezing on Mario Kart 8 seems to only appear with Mario Kart 8...

    I am on the latest update (5.5.2) and I do have the Haxchi and Homebrew Launcher icons, can I get rid of the DNS settings then?
